Library Resources
We offer a range of resources for those doing research on Invercargill and the local region.
Research Collection
Contains many resources useful for students and researchers including; historical information, statistical data, Government publications and more. Ask at the First Floor Help Desk for these items.
Reference items can only be accessed in the library.
Local Collection
Contains items relating to Invercargill, Southland, Stewart Island, and other southern islands. It includes books, directories, maps, CDs, DVDs and more. Ask at the First Floor Help Desk for these items.

Newspapers
We hold recent copies of most local and national papers. We store historic copies of the Southland Times, the Southland Daily News, and other local papers. Library members can also read newspapers on PressReader.
