After School Drop-in Sessions

Check out our fun, free after shool drop-in sessions that your kids will love

During the school terms for 2024, the library will be holding a variety of drop-in sessions between 3-5pm for youth and children.

Each day will be a different drop-in session – either building, digital, or craft themed.

Try your hand at building the tallest Lego building or try out our PlayStation VR. (PlayStation VR is not for use by children under age 12).

Sessions will begin the week of 5 May.

Term one drop-in session timetable

Come in and build whatever your imagination can think of. We’ll have a range of Lego, giant Lego, and magnetic blocks out for you to go wild with.

With a range of tablet-based games and robots, get your digital fix every Tuesday during the school term.

Every Wednesday the library’s PlayStation VR and VR2 units will be set up and running for you to experience. Play Beat Saber, SuperHot or maybe Break Things VR.

Every Thursday this term we’ll have a wide range of craft materials out for you to see what you can make. Not sure what to make? Our children’s and youth librarian will have loads of ideas and patterns to help get you started.
