Library members now have access to Beamafilm, which streams documentaries and independent films, with a focus on New Zealand and Australian content. Once you have created an account below, you can log in and stream ten films each month on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Getting started using Beamafilm

  1. Click here to open Beamfilm in a new window.
  2. Enter your Library card number. Your Library card number can be found on the back of your library card, just below the barcode.
  3. Create your account by entering your name, email, and choosing a password. OR create an account using your Facebook or Google account.
  4. You will receive a welcome email with a verification link to activate your account.
  5. Log-in and start browsing!

Issues signing up

When I try and register it says that my email is already in use, but I haven’t signed up before.

I signed up but never received a confirmation email
Check your spam folder in case it was sent here. If you still haven’t received your confirmation email after 10 minutes please email us.
