After School Clubs

We offer a range of free after school clubs run by our passionate staff members!

  • Clubs are free and operate on a term-by-term basis.
  • Please inform us at registration if your child has a medical or behavioural condition.
  • If your child is unable to attend a club for the week, please try to email or phone us.
  • Ensure you use an email that you check regularly so you can confirm your registration.

Useful Term 3 Club Information

  • Registrations open on Wednesday 4 July and will close on Sunday 8 July.
  • Applicants will be notified by Friday 20 July whether or not they have been placed in a club.
  • Clubs will run for 10 weeks starting from the week of Monday 23 July.
  • Book and Craft Club have been combined.
  • There is no Junior Digi Club this term.
  • A new Drama Club has started for kids aged 7-10

General Clubs

Meet some like-minded kids!

Phineas’ Book & Craft Club is about making books fun! Each session includes a selection of read alouds and book based craft activities.

Work together to create a Lego masterpiece! Using the Library’s Lego collection, the possibilities of what can be created are limited only by your imagination!

Calling all young actors! A drama club is starting at the Library this term. Bring your big personality and have fun creating characters in plays. We will aim for a performance on the last day of clubs.

Digital Clubs

We offer a range of technology-based clubs for all your after-school needs!

Minecraft Club is an online world where children are free to explore, survive, create and work together on a series of survival and building tasks. Not only is it fun, but it helps to build cooperation and logic skills.

In DigiClub we play various competitive and cooperative multiplayer games each week.

Scratch Online is the next step after Scratch Junior.  Produce animations and games.  Encourages problem solving and team work, and is SUPER fun! Children must be familiar with Scratch Junior to attend this club.

Teen Clubs

Clubs aimed at young adults!

You don’t have to be an avid reader, but must be interested in trying new activities and getting involved in the Library. Perks include first choice of the new teens’ books.
