Get your dancing shoes on kids, children’s singer and song writer Kath Bee is coming our way!

Come and celebrate the release of her new book, ‘Dragons Under My Bed’! Illustrated by Lisa Allen, you can download the song from the book and sing along while you turn the pages. Pick up your bee and dragon from the library in the weeks before and bring them along to fly around! There will be singing, actions, giveaways, bubbles and FUN!

Free family history talks in August. Bring your lunch, and learn!

The NZ Society of Genealogists, Southland Branch, in association with the Invercargill Public Library, is presenting a week of Family History lunchtime sessions.

Each session runs for 45 minutes, starting at 12:15pm in the Library Meeting Room. Bring your own lunch along, and enjoy. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
